#16 The Netherlands

The Netherlands is an interesting place. There's a big mix between the countryside and ultra modern, laid back cities. Amsterdam is an obvious draw for tourists. If you miss the red light district and all the "coffee houses", Amsterdam has a wealth of other attractions. The museums are especially good. There's the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh museum and Anne Frank's house.

I first went here on my bus tour around Europe, but went back a few years back for another look.
