#2 Singapore

I first went to Singapore in 1997 for work. It was the first time I'd ever left the country. It was a huge culture shock, but I loved it. Since then, I've been back lots. I broke up most trips between Europe and Australia with a stop over in Singapore. It's a place on the move. It's constantly reinventing itself and adding new attractions for the tourists. It's a fun place to visit and not nearly as boring as most people make out.
