#30 India

I was sent to work in India for 3 months. I must admit, I did not have such a good time there. After a while, it really started to get to me. With a lot of places you visit that are tough at the time, in retrospect they seem like fun. Not India. For me, I have some really bad memories of appalling squalid poverty, terribly food poisoning, pushy rude people and general bad feelings. Mind you, my experience was moulded by working at the same time. Perhaps if I went back for a holiday, I might enjoy it. You never know...
